Can I have delivery on a specific day ?
If you need your goods delivered on a specific day simply place the order online as normal then call our customer service team on 0161 763 4341 and we will arrange for your goods to be delivered on the day you request or offer an alternative day.
Can I specify a time for delivery ?
Unfortunately due to the size and weight of some of our orders we are unable to offer timed delivery slots, deliveries are made between 08.00 and 17.30 Monday to Friday. Saturday can be agreed with the sales team at an extra cost.
It is your responsibility to check your goods upon delivery from the carrier. Failure to note the carriers note with the word "DAMAGED" (if this is the case) will result in us not being able to claim on your behalf from the carrier. This is as stipulated by the carriers themselves and is out of our control. Once you sign for the delivery it is signed as delivered in good condition unless you say it is damaged or Short Delivered. Please write on the delivery note or drivers hand held device that the item is damaged or there is a shortage even if it appears to be only cosmetic damage to the box or if the driver says he will return with missing items, this is extremely important to allow us to claim for any damages or shortages. If the damage appears to be significant then you can refuse the delivery and the item will be returned to us. We will then organise for a replacement to be sent out at no extra cost to you. Simply email us at email@example.com as soon as possible and we will organise for the goods to be re-sent to you. Our aim is to get the replacement parts to you as quickly as possible at no cost to you. In certain circumstances we ask for photos of any damage to help us to improve the packaging for future customers and to assist with any claims.
Please note that for damaged items or shortages we need to be notified within 3 days of the item being delivered. We are unable accept claims for damaged items or shortages after 5 days.
If the item is delivered damaged and you no longer want the product as long as the above has been followed then we will arrange to collect the product from you at no cost to you. Once we receive the damaged product back we will credit in full. If there are items missing then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and confirm which items are missing. We will ship the replacement parts as quickly as possible at no cost to you.
Finally please note that all carriage charges quoted prior to despatch are estimates as the true weight is not known until despatch.
All goods are supplied strictly in accordance to our Conditions of Sale (available upon request) and remain the property of N F METALS until full payment is received.
Unfortunately we cannot arrange collection of unwanted goods.
